It's time for 'The Molly' present...once again
Well, well, well...I can hardly contain myself. I am going to Indianapolis this weekend for my father's 90th Birthday Celebration with The Molly and family. Before I explain about The Molly - first and foremost - CHEERS to my dad. He is an amazing man with really, really good genes. His mother and father both lived to be 100 - my grandpa even made the birthday announcements on the Today Show with Willard. SO, dad turns 90! He tried a cell phone this past summer but gave it back. Even though it was cheaper, said it wasn't worth a D--- and that he couldn't hear a G-- D----- thing. Now, if he choose to wear his hearing aid, maybe these new fangled devices would work. But nope - chooses to not wear his hearing aid, has the tv blaring and now has gone back to his land line. He probably would prefer dialing but he can't find those anymore.
While visiting we will be exchanging Christmas presents. We won't open them, because we need to wait for Christmas and that would be breaking the rules - something my sister was never really good at. I guess there can be only one really good rule breaker in the family. So I will bring The Molly present back with me to savor until December 23 when I will bring it into the office and open it. This is something everyone lives for, including myself. For those of you who don't know what in the world I'm talking about - refer to The Molly Present Blog LAST December. I got matching black goth candleabras. One was supposed to be for Christmas and the other one was supposed to be for my birthday in March. I couldn't wait - I opened them both up, not believing my eyes. The year before, it was pink bunny long johns -no doubt an Easter Clearance item that she purchased and saved.
SO, it's time for The Molly present once again. I can't wait to see what she came up with this year. Stay tuned...
